Background Analyst

The Background Analyst role is a combination of data entry, order processing and fulfillment and Customer service tasks. Incumbent is responsible for processing various employment background screening services and activities including, drug testing, criminal and consumer reports. Activities will be conducted via computer, phone and fax and include various Customer service functions.


 

Qualifications / Skills Required

  • Ability to self-manage time and to prioritize projects is essential
  • Background in Criminal Justice, Credit Reporting and Education Background Screening helpfulExcellent communication skills & phone etiquette
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum 2+ Years in a professional environment, prior Customer Service experience preferred
  • Must be highly organized and reliable
  • Must have ability to achieve assigned objectives in a timely manner
  • Must have ability to work well with other team members and adapt to new or changing job responsibilities
  • Must be energetic and highly motivated professional and Team Player

Job Description

  • Create Customer Orders by entering them into System on Customer’s behalf
  • Conduct Background Screening Service Orders via Phone, Email, Web
  • Ensure proper Protocol and Procedures are followed in order to conduct requested services
  • Field Customer inquiries and forward to appropriate area for resolution
  • Provide Customer Reports via Phone, Email, Web when scheduled or requested by the Customer

 

Key Relationships

This role reports to the Director of Background Operations and interacts frequently with other members of Background Team and Operational functions.

Sales Associate

We are seeking a entry level professional to serve as a CSS Sales Associate. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities by strategically prospecting, networking, and building strong customer relationships in an assigned territory while executing on an aggressive B2B sales plan.


 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a B2B outside sales role, preferably selling intangible services
  • Background or Drug screening services industry experience a plus
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and generating sales leads within a territory
  • Previous sales training a plus, but not required (Integrity, SPI, Carnegie, Heiman, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative selling approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in entering, maintaining and analyzing data in CRM platforms with preference to Salesforce
  • Willing to travel within an assigned territory and nationally as required
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive customer and subject information
  • Strong dedication to time management principles and able to prioritize
  • High energy with a strong will to hear “no” frequently and focus on winning
  • Professional demeanor, able to present and close to all levels of decision makers include C-Level executives

Core Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Generate and grow new business by successfully executing on an aggressive sales plan
  • Strategically leverage company, industry and sales trends to enhance prospecting efforts
  • Create and maintain a detailed prospecting plan to uncover potential customers and opportunities
  • Enter and maintain all relevant account and opportunity data in Salesforce.com platform
  • Accurately provide monthly and quarterly incoming revenue forecasts based on customer contract date and launch
  • Successfully on board new business by coordinating internal resources and guiding the customer through the whole process from signature, integration, to launch
  • Become a subject matter expert in our industry though CSS resources, training, workshops and other external education sources
  • Create meaningful proposals and quotes that address and resolve prospect pain points
  • Regularly provide data to the executive team on any changes to the competitive environment including trends, pricing, product offerings, and other observable advantages
  • Negotiating agreement terms, pricing within guidelines, and closing sales

Sales Support

The role of Sales Support is responsible for providing tactical and administrative support to Sales staff such as managing creating pricing and service agreement documents, completing administrative tasks related to Customer onboarding activities, all to increase effectiveness of the Sales Team needed to successfully contribute to the organization’s growth goals as an industry leader in Background Screening, Drug Testing, and Human Resource Administrative Management Services.

  • Minimum 1-2+ years in a professional environment
  • Prior Customer Service Service or Sales Support experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills & phone etiquette

    • Client Documents – Create and distribute Service Agreements, SOWS, etc. via Docusign
    • Follow ups via eMail / Phone on distributed Client documents
    • Tracking and follow ups for Clients with Contractors, Subcontractors & Vendors through to onboarding
    • Successfully Onboard New Clients
    • Coordinating internal resources and guiding the Client through the whole process from signature, integration, to launch
    • Understand Client needs and requirements and look for “upsell” opportunities
    • Follow up Forecast vs. Actual – Monitor new Clients for “upsell” opportunities
    • Research Competitor offerings / Legal actions
    • Lead Lists – Research size, industry and details
    • Salesforce.com – Enter Leads and record activities (i.e. calls, emails) through to conversion to Opportunity

    Customer Relationship Coordinator

    The Customer Relationship Coordinator role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including communicating with Clients and candidates daily, resolving issues, researching background and compliance topics as well as updating client accounts and providing support where needed.

      Job Description

      • Support Customer Relationship Team (CRM) to ensure all Customer Service activities are handled promptly, efficiently, and accurately
      • Communicate daily with Clients on status of requests
      • Work with other departments within the organization regarding Client requests
      • Identify Client needs and options for streamlining both internal and external processes
      • Handle various background screening processes including daily mailing and/or emailing of documents, obtaining approvals for services, etc.
      • Manage Client accounts that require updates and modifications
      • Field daily inquiries and technical requests from Clients and Candidates quickly, and ensure proper resolution
      • Maintain a high-level of Client satisfaction
      • Assist with research on additional services as well as compliance guidelines
      • Create Customer facing “knowledge base” documents
      • Provide training for Clients on process and background platform
      • Additional ad hoc activities as needed

       

      Key Relationships

      This role reports to the Director of Customer Relationships and Compliance and interacts with other members of the Customer Support Team as well as other departments within the organization.
